The
Progress

The Mission
Aux is an agricultural robotics start-up, headquartered in Pendleton, Oregon. Through a close partnership with Oregon vineyards, we focus on creating useful and affordable robots.
The
Commitment
AUX is committed to helping students in Umatilla County engage in the technology side of agriculture through hands-on experience. Our workshop doubles as a science lab where we welcome local students to develop their creativity through technology and robotics.
The Husarion Rosbot comes with many different features for testing. These include a 3-D Camera system and a Lidar unit, all being run by open-source software called ROS (Robot Operating System).

Testing Robots
A crucial step in reaching our goal is testing out software on a smaller scale. At AUX, we have used the Husarion Rosbot to test out an autonomous Lidar Navigation system.
The Husarion Rosbot can either be manually controlled, or it can run completely autonomous by scanning its surroundings.

The Lidar system on the Husarion Rosbot creates a map of its surroundings, which it uses to avoid obsticals.

Safe

The Bin Bot will be equipped with Lidar, which is excellent for preventing collisions.
The
Bin Bot
The AUX Bin Bot is designed to increase the productivity of vineyard workers. It will do the heavy lifting for them by following them as they pick grapes, and carrying the load back to the end of the row.

Durable

The Bin Bot will be capable of transporting loads of up to 1000lbs through a vineyard.
